Data modification replication between two or more Dynamics 365 Business Central instances

Are you struggling to have data consistency across different instances of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

Sprinkler is a near-real-time Data Distribution System, developed to simplify any information replication needed between two or more Dynamics 365 Business Central instances.

Sprinkler detects a data modification operated over a Company belonging on a first database or instance (called Source Peer), and it transfers this information to one or more Companies on the same or different databases or instances (called Target Peers), in order to replicate the same operation.
This communication can also be bidirectional, so a Peer can be at the same time Source and Target for a more complex Sprinkler distribution schema.

A flexible setup on Source Peer allows to define precisely which operations are to be detected, and a similar setup on each Target Peer allows to define which reported operations have to be imported and replicated, or even discarded.

Sprinklers can be used successfully by Business Central Customers and Partners for a variety of purposes, among which we can list:

  • Fulfill application requirements for data replication during the Dynamics 365 Business Central daily use (Master Data of your choice shared between different companies, etc)
  • Integrate with your Partner Network automating the data exchange 
  • Simplify the deployment of new Companies by replicating the configuration tables in an automated way
  • Centralize the management of the most critical tables (exchange rates, tax codes, etc.) so you can have a consistent configuration for all Business Central instances
  • Manage the data update between environments: Development, Test, Integration and Production
